2. What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, mobile number and password (passwords are never stored by us in readable form; authentication is handled by a secure identity service).
- Order details: products ordered, delivery address, delivery method, payment method and payment status.
- Reseller applications: name, business name, contact details, province, town, business type and products of interest.
- Enquiries you send us through the contact form or WhatsApp.
We do not store card numbers on this website.
3. Why we use it
- To process, deliver and support your orders (contract performance).
- To verify payments and prevent fraud (legitimate interest / legal obligation).
- To assess reseller applications and provide wholesale pricing.
- To send promotions — only if you opted in. You can opt out at any time in your account or by contacting us.
4. Sharing
We share only what is necessary with couriers (delivery details), suppliers fulfilling supplier-direct items (delivery details for those items), payment and instalment providers, and our hosting providers. We never sell your personal information.
5. Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Customer and order data is stored in a secured database that is only accessible by our server code; administrator functions require an authenticated account with the administrator role. Order pages are protected by a private link or your account login.
6. Retention
We keep order and transaction records for as long as required by tax and consumer law (generally 5 years), and other information only for as long as needed for the purposes above.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to processing, and withdraw marketing consent. Use our contact form (choose “Privacy (POPIA) request”). You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforegulator.org.za.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, and your browser’s local storage to remember your cart and wishlist. We do not use advertising cookies.
